Medication management for youth ages 5-21
Teens and children with a diagnosable mental illness and learning disabilities can by treated with medication when appropriate. Our staff psychiatrists are able to evaluate the medication needs of students and children referred to us, and determine the best pharmaceutical treatments for them.
Remember: Medication isn’t for everyone. We’ll carefully assess if medication is the right option.
Continuity of care
Our team takes steps to make sure medication is taken properly. Many disturbances at school or at home can be traced to someone who stops taking medication for that person’s diagnosable mental illness. We continually check with families to make sure youth are taking their medication as prescribed. If side effects or affordability discourage families from using the medication as they should, we will find suitable alternatives.
We help youth with mental illness thrive.
Fortunately, with medication when needed, children and teens diagnosed with a mental disease can enjoy academic success and thrive. Working with you, we can manage medication so that your patients, students, or clients can make positive changes in their lives.
