Christina Soddano, LCSW
Senior Director for Strategic Health Initiatives, Rising Ground
Christina Soddano is a native of Guatemala who migrated to the United States at the age of 15 and is fluent in Spanish. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ms. Soddano has worked in the social services field for 25 years and for 15 years has managed mental health clinics in The Bronx for the Jewish Board for Families and Children Services and FEGS. Previously, she served as a School-Based Clinical Supervisor and Program Coordinator for The Guidance Center.
As Senior Director for Strategic Health Initiatives at Rising Ground, formerly Leake and Watts, Ms. Soddano was responsible for opening the agency’s Bronx Family Mental Health Clinic as an Article 31 outpatient facility in late 2016. She currently oversees its daily operation.
Christina Soddano attended Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services where she earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical, Administrative and Research in Social Work. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Marymount College.
